Just a feeling I've had for a while. If you're PPCing you don't score well in organic?
Is there some sort of self preserving programming at work?

If anything it should be the other way round, apparently if Google sees your advertising your site through AdWords it may move your site out of the sandbox quicker as it's less likely to be spam.
Shouldn't make a differnece..
Plus then you couldn't call it organic could you ?

Just blogged (http://entertainmentsuccess.blogspot.com) about a study conducted by Yahoo that says "online users who were exposed to both the search and display ad campaigns increased their share of page views relative to competitive sites by 68%"
I doubt Google or any search engine would try to hurt your organics because you decide to pay them to advertise your site in the sponsors. (for profit organizations tend to not turn away spenders)

Bad example but look at a number of examples that spend millions on the engines (Dell being one that spring to mind) that utilise both PPC and SEO without it affecting their rankings. Bad example, however I would suggest that it is more likelt to be co-incidence than any malice on Googles part
