i had a website which consist of .asp pages.
i've just redesigned the site and put my website in a unix environment, and i've configured my htaccess file to interpret .asp as php then redirect them to new URLs.
(e.g
www. site .com/page-name.asp to www. site .com/dir-name/ )
there are more than 100 pages that include 301 redirects now. Do you think it is OK? or should i use sitemap, or any other tool?
i am asking this becuase google reindexed them with new URLs but some others vanished (a page is vanished - 2 links from DMOZ).
