I have a site that has almost 1,000 pages indexed. The problem is that the site only gets about 250 daily visitors. I would like to send that traffic to another site I have, but keep all the pages indexed just as they are, so I can't do a 301 redirect.

So, if I put up a javascript redirect, would that help? Would I be able to keep my pages and send my visitors to the other site? Any other suggestions of how could I do this?

You could use a JS redirect, but honestly what you're talking about sounds like cloaking to me..

I'd most likely be a little cautious with this because if the site's already getting 250/day I wouldn't want to lose it... (Personally)

That is dangerous territory. Just advertise like mad on the site. Tell people to go to the other site.

Don't do any redirections.

No, I wouldn't want to cloak...

The reason I want to do this is that I have 2 sites. Both of them are 100% same theme, so sending visitors from site B to site A wouldn't be a problem at all to my visitors, they would still be getting what they are looking for. But since site B has so many indexed pages I would like to keep them for coop weight.

Another advantage would be that I can focus on just promoting site A

Redirecting traffic via JS is an ban waiting to happen IMo it is an absolute no no. As suggested ealier, just cross promote the sites like buggery via adverts.

Matt cutts just posted about a crappy javascript cloaking attempt on his blog. I'd advise against it. Do what Barry said.
