I set my domain name in my registrar's DNS CNAME records to point the www at my blog.

So now 'www.mydomainname.com' points at my blog.

If I set up another CNAME record to also point to my blog -- without the www (i.e., 'mydomainname.com' points to the same blog), will the search engines see it as duplicate content?

TIA.

Probably not, they are pretty good at that.

If you are hosted on a Linux setup I would use mod_rewrite to achieve this.
