hello to everyone. I have a brand new site and i was wondering how can i promote it in Google or yahoo (how can i gain PR)? Also i wanted to ask about a tip i received yesterday from another webmaster. He mentioned something about a new type of link building software called ***********. He claims it will bring me hundreds of quality backlinks to any page I nominate. Has anyone heard of it, is it good, and will it help me in some way? I'm new to these things and i hope I'll get your advice.

I'd keep clear of info domains..

Not going to look at the url.. and any thing called rank1 or 1stplace sounds a bit like " we gurantee #1 ranking" ..

Someone else might know / heard of them..

Any other story about that software? But I will worry that goolge will penalize a site for suddenly backlink boost.

You will not need to trade links to gain high rankings. Google knows the only reason why people trade is to manipulate the serp's. So my suggestion is to not do it. Want proof My site is only 6 months old and I am ranked number 23 for a term that gets searched over 300,000 times a month in google. I have only traded less than a hundred links. I although have did something very different from everyone else and this is why I am ranked high. Also google doesnt even recognize that I have any links with them yet. So don't follow the crowd because google knows and they are slowly knocking out everyone who is trading.

i'm not familiar to it.

but for you to promote your site, you can submit it to different directories, make articles and press release with a link of your site on the footer, blogs are also a great help, get quality link exchanges and also, you can submit promotional ads to different ads sites, like Google Base :)
