I was doing some browsing today and I found that Ask.com offers a new 3 panel search that is just one of another tools that promote usefulness over quality of search
I am curious to hear what people have to say about this new news.

Is there any information on what share of the market Ask has now? I only track info from Google, Yahoo, and MSN. Should I be paying more attention to Ask? (he asks)

thats an interesting question you ask about ask... (thought i'd get that out of the way early on)
Ask has a fairly small share in the UK. Google (last time I saw had over 70%, with yahoo and Msn both holding between 7 and 10%. Doesnt leave a lot for ask...
Sadly the market share is pretty low :(
Today if yahoo and msn had the same share as google I'd be a happy man...
Ask has massive issues with 301's... Sad but its makes a mess of the serps..

Ask may make a mess of the serps, but I definitely think that Ask is something to keep our eyes on. Even though I am a big Google fan, I have come to terms that Google is not invincible.
