I just recieved word from Yahoo! Search Marketing Staff that they are pulling the plug on their Keyword Selector Tool.

Thought you'd wanna know:

Here's a copy from the email I got:

The cow is tired to be shamelessly milked. I wonder what happen to the tons of the keyword tools that have been living on this magic page.

Weird that link should work, Hhheng.

Although most tools are failing out there, I have been able to run multible queries with my keyword extractor last nigth. Especially at about 03:00 (+1:00 GMT).
It seems as if they pulled away some servers making it extemely slow and unreliable. But why not take it down al together.

They might leave the december searchvolumes on there but not ceate new ones for january. I expect it to go down february 15th!

A relief. I just found out the keyword tool is not going down. Yahoo! will support it but is just having technical difficulties. Explaines why I could get some queries returned. Sorry for the fuss!

There were not a lot of (unique) free ones before, but seems a couple of new ones have sprung up, e.g. KD and WT

Wow, if it goes, then it will leave a lot of us in the ditch!
I mean this tool is really very useful. Not 100% accurate, but still very useful.

I still find it relatively useful even though the information is no longer being update.

Overture showing "Searches done in January 2007" result and not updating its data.

Is the tool depreciated then? Or will there be an update?
