Google testing AdWords Campaign Optimiser

I noticed this AdWords Campaign Optimisation link (http://blog.seoptimise.com/2007/03/new-adwords-campaign-optimisation.html) appear today when checking a clients campaign view.

Looks like it could become a useful feature to help advertisers to manage their own accounts more easily.

Very cool, I saw the same for adsense (http://www.seroundtable.com/archives/007283.html) a while back.

Are the suggestions by Google any good?

They have been doing this for sometime...

Some of the recommedations can be good, in terms of re-structure & additional keywords.

But generally the recommended action is also to increase bids and get more volume...

IE. - Spend more money :D

I haven't applied the changes as I've only just began reviewing this account and the option hasn't appeared for any other accounts yet.

The additional keywords sounds like it could definitely benefit an account, I'm not sure if I'd like it to delete keywords though as some may be able to be re-worked to improve performance. The increased budget isn't a big shock :D

Does anyone know if this is a UK only beta test, I'm not seeing it for U.S. adwords accounts...weird.
