There a plenty of software solutions that will bid manage Ad Words, atlas DMT, make me top, bid force, bid optimiser, bid buddy but they are all constrained by the same Google API and it's costs.

I have worked with some of these extensively and played with the others they all work of the same formula principles, where they vary is cost.

Managing huge Ad Words accounts with software such as these will incurr large additional costs which you may not have seen for the use of the Google API, they are also contrained by the amount of actions they are allowed to perform through the api on hour by hour or day by day basis, and remember each action costs.

Personally my advice is if your account is relatively small 100 ad groups or so, using formula, a spreadsheet and adwords editor is "old school" but is still very effective. It will cut the bid management costs but can be time consuming!
