Anyone using Local Ads in their campaigns? Seeing their adwords ads show up in local searches?

I want to learn more about it and compare CPC/CTR with normal adwords campaigns.

We have only used the local ads for brand spanking new sites (and then only for a short while) Because it's far to easy to rank for those keywords organically.

However we are going to start testing some of the local Ads in Spanish :)

Local ads in spanish isn't a bad idea. I work out of/in chicago. Would be nice to test them in our population.

I'm checking them out now as I try to mainly target start-ups in english speaking regions.

So that leaves me targetting California, NY, Chicago, Michigan, London & Dublin.

Doesn't work out so bad for the moment.

Local ads is good...I don't think so it is bad idea.....

Google Local is rising up. Google is trying to collect lot of information. This week I received a call from Google asking about my business. This was great the google local database could be useful for target advertising and promotion.
