The reason I've been quiet on xooglers is that Google legal has asked to talk to me about it (no big deal I am assured) and we've been having trouble making contact.

Depending on the outcome of these talks, employees past and present may be very reluctant to blog about Google.
Ironically, this is a harmless Blog with is offering tidbits of information that in no way appears to harm Google.
This sort of reminds one of the time when news.com become on the no-call list for using Google Search to find info about Google chiefs in a harmless article.
