I am a complete novice but im sure that using software to create links is a bad idea and will not look good to mr google if he finds out.

However if you want some software to analyse existing links there are a lot of tools out there just hit google.

trial and error and all that:)

In my experience, relying on software to do the work for you in regards to link building is never a good idea. The true act of link building requires lots of research, building relationships with website owners, and a lot of hard work.

I have used LinkMarket for this type of linking but have had very poor results. Even if you get your link on a page that has PR, it will also have 50 other links on it as well.

May I suggest the following idea. It is better to get one link from a PR3 page (not site) than using any of these concepts. The effort is less and will be successful.

Yes, its true that one way links are important but what about the traffiics.
Does it work to generate traffics like as link exchange?

the traffic generated is not worth having as it is very poor quality, but if you want to try go for it. But you have been warned

No matter what anyone states, link exchange does not increase traffic. What traffic you get is no good and for me, has never lead to a sale. Link exchange is for increasing your Google Page Rank.

But again, after 7 years, the links are worthless. Then why do it, simple:
Branding your site.

I want to brand the web site http://www.imaginuity.com/ with the phrase "Translating Brands Online", their slogan. The concept is "Google Bombing". You put the following link on as many sites as possible.

<A class="menu" href="http://www.imaginuity.com/" title="Imaginuity Interactive Agency Translating Brands Online">Translating Brands Online</A>

As the other sites are indexed, the link text is related to the Imaginuity site. Proof: Enter "Translating Brands Online" into Google without the quotes. #1 out of 2,370,000. Not bad for a Flash site.

Only unique and interesting contents have tendency to get natural links for your site.
Isn't it?

I think The key to success for a web site is good search engine ranking. All of the major search engines use link popularity to determine how well a site will rank - so the more high quality, relevant links that lead to your site, the higher it will rank. LinkMachine makes it easy to get the links you need by helping you establish hundreds of quality, relevant link exchanges.

All automated link building software are good for nothing... I would always vote for manual link building.. the big G is pretty smart to knw these tactics and can penalize your sites... ;)

I think is is now a common understanding that Google has stated that any "automated" or "automatic type" software or tool is going to be look at in a bad light by them.

I have used most of them and they really didn't give me the results that I wanted. But to use an "automated" tool will just waive a red flag in Google's face.

Suggestion: I have received more links from the "forum's friends" than I have received from any "link tool". If you help people, you would be supprised that you will recieve a link. To the forum, thanks...

Getting natural back links is very difficult but worth it in the end. Just try and start small. Don't go asking the Financial Times for a backlink.

Do not use link exchange softwares if you are serious about Google.

Google takes link exchange programs as an attempt to exploit its ranking algorithm.

better avoid it in first place.

I would try and avoid "link exchanging" these days. Exchanged links don't have the power that they once had. Go for creating great, unique content that people will link to. Also, request links from sites that are related to yours, but not competing directly.

You seldom get sites with good PR by using a software for link building; manual link building is most effective.

I tend to stick to one way linking & three way as reciprocal linking such as what link2me provides is no longer effective form of link building.

If you are doing this for reciprocal linking don't old school. Try going on forums and blogs (do follow) and posting with a signature for a back link. Content on your site is gonna get your site crawled by search engines and keep the back links and content going.
