I have a site I have been working on that has 6 main phrases it is going after. All phrases are GEO targeted for county or city so its not too nasty as far as competition. For 4 of the 6 phrases I am in the top 5 on all engines and have been for over 5 months. The other two phrases are not in the top 1,000 on google but #5 or better on yahoo or msn. Also those two phrases have top five results for all the allinanchor: - allintitle: - allintext: at google. And the two phrases missing are a different variation of the same city. Example "blue widget carlsbad" and "red widget carlsbad"
Also the domain name was created in 2002 and it has been live in Googles index since 02. I started the SEO for a friend in August 05, and quickly got all the other cities and counties at the top within a month but nothing for the other two.
I could poor over the site moving up the title, and adding more keywords, but I am stuck as to why the words wouldn't even be on the radar at all. I would expect maybe page 5 or 6 and I tweak some on page stuff but I am getting absolutley nothing.
Also this remains the same for Big Daddy, except my other words are ranking even better on Bid Daddy.
Any suggestions would be great.
