How can we Get More Traffic from Yahoo and MSN rather than Google?

Dear Forum Members,

We are working with number of clients for SEO , Link Building and Pay Per Click. In Search Engine Optimization we are getting good search engine positions and results for my

client websites in all mjor search engines like Google , Yahoo and Msn.

But Our clients asking like


1) Why We are getting Good Traffic From Google Search Engine rather Than Yahoo and MSN ?

2) Why We are Getting more profits , sales and leads with Microsoft Adcenter , Yahoo Search Marketing rather than Google Adwords ?

3) Ranking High on Yahoo and MSN but no Traffic ? why?

not as many people search using msn and yahoo.

I suggest site promotion. write a blog or an article, join in forums. These are some ways to attract traffic to your site... One more thing, most people search on Google so dont worry about the other two.

BTW have you checked your keywords using overture? The number of searches per month? Maybe there's wrong with your target keywords that's why there's no traffic or maybe the tools that you are using is not functioning well.

Live Simply used to be top in MSN and Yahoo but didn't receive hardly any traffic.

Interesting as we started to fair better in google our MSN and yahoo ranking fell dramatically and now Live simply doesn't even place in yahoo or MSN much. However the traffic we get from google is much more than we got from MSN and Yahoo combined.

So maybe you should focus on the big one

You should ask them why they are running after millions when they can easily generate profits in thousands. :D

Google outranks all other search engines in terms of traffic.


2) Why We are Getting more profits , sales and leads with Microsoft Adcenter , Yahoo Search Marketing rather than Google Adwords ?


Google adwords is laced with click fraud issues. This is the reason why lead rate is low.


3) Ranking High on Yahoo and MSN but no Traffic ? why?

MSN has less than 10% share of search engines...

You must rank very well to have traffic from msn...

Maybe you have bad keywords so research the market...

You are right. Also increase the keyword density to 9% for yahoo. And for msn bold your main keyword in the page. If possible use punch line on top which contains again the main keyword of the page.
