Lets say if you want one way links to your site X, you approach the webmaster of a site Y and ask them to keep your site's link on there site. And in return your will keep there site's(Y) link on your site Z. This way your site X will be one way, perma, themed links... ;)

Well that isn't necessary.By three way link exchange it means three inbound links to your website from another website.These links could be re-directed to other profile pages in your website.Say you have a website A, and the person you are exchanging a link has a website B.Then the three way link exchange will take place in such a way that 3 links from website B will point to website A and vice versa.Well it isn't necessary that these three links will be directed to the same page of either websites.Say out of these three one would be directed to the home page,one to the services/product page and the last to the contact page.It isn't necessary to have more then one website to have a three way link exchange.
