Looks like we'll get a few new features in the AdWords keyword tool over the next few days:)

I'm looking forward to the filters:

New Filters: We will be adding three new filters to the Keyword Tool based on user feedback. As such, users can now limit the types of results they see:

- Don't show results that contain the following words or phrases (advertiser can enter in words or phrases in a box below)

- Don't show keywords already in my ad group (if they entered the Keyword Tool from the ad group page)

- Don't show ideas for new keywords. I only want to see data about the keywords I entered.

Is there a source of this on Google's site? I can't find anything.

(You know why I'm asking) ;)

Hello Tamar,

Not that I've seen. Although today I am starting to see the new features in some accounts. Maybe we'll get an official AdWords blog post on the subject in the next few days...

Have you seen the new keyword analysis page?

It doesn't tell you a huge amount more than you already know, although it does break down quality score into 'keyword relevance' and 'landing page quality' and tells you if there is a problem with either.

These are things you should be able to work out on your own for the most part, but its nice to know Google are going that step further to explain what might be causing problems for some advertisers.

Hi,

Did they ditch the "negative keyword look-up" in this tool? I cannot find it any longer.

Argh, I hope not :D I have been experimenting with Yahoo, AdCenter, Ask etc. and Google AdWords seem to have much larger volume so no real 100% replacement alternatives yet.
