Keyword trademark

Hi All,

I have been facing a new problem with google PPC ads - apparently the keywords (BlackBerry) and (Vodafone) are trademarks. All my ads have been banned and I will need to get an email from both companies to approve me using the keywords in my ads.
how silly is that??????
I have been running these ads for over a year with no problem...
anyone got this problem?

Yes I have run into that problem before. Google doesn't want people competing over copyrighted terms. I assume its for some legal reasons, as Google would then be making money from something that someone else has the copyright for. There isn't much that can be done about it besides targeting other keywords. You may have to try to target those copyrighted terms via seo & organic rankings.
