In terms of website promotion, i don't use such automatic tools/softwares. I still prefer manual submission coz i'm certain about certain things such as the quality of the sites, relevancy, etc.

Go for manual submission. That's only the right way to do submissions (SEs submissions, articles submissions or directories submissions).

Please optimized your site manually.

Actually automated submissions are a complete no no if you want
your website to have a good positioning in search engines.
Automated submissions create more harm than advantages. Major
Search engines and directories like Google and domz does not
allow automated submissions at any cost. And all other search
engines also prefer manual submissions. The automated
submissions software can only fill out the submission form
automatically but this is not enough for search engine and
directory submissions.

The best tool so far that I have used is the IBP 9.x tool. In it, it has a tool that will help you submit (Manually) your site to a series of directories.

BUT, Google will jump all over you if you use this tool for their "automated" processes.

Remember, if it is automated, you will piss off Google.

Use the IBP tool for your directory submissions. It will take time, but you will get good results.

Any questions, just PM me.

I can second IBP but only as a tool to provide easy access to directories.

its helpful in in the sense that you have lessen your time i submitting your site to directories, but its not really significant in getting quality links like getting relevant link partners for your site.

You should never use any kind of automated submission softwares. This will jeopardise your future rankings.

You could score higher rankings on Yahoo, but it will downslide on Google

automated submission may be useful; but for quality sake, manual submission is more effective.

In my opinion submitting a webpage's/website is the last appeal of a desperate webmaster. This is not the organic way to get recognized & your web site indexed.

The spiders of most the major search engines (google, yahoo & live) continuously crawl the internet & index the content of webpage's/website's through finding links from the sites there crawling. These connections among websites pass forward new websites locations & relevance, which are the most important when it comes to search engine optimization & seo factors, the relevance & importance.

If a site would link to your site using the “webmaster forum” as the keyword/keyword phrase as anchor text, the site would increase the relevance of your site for the keyword/keyword phrase used in the anchor text and your site would share in the PageRank of site's linking webpage.

Don’t waste your time with search engine submission, It's pointless & a waste of time, If you have serious for marketing your website, simply start by getting some good quality backlinks and your site will start to rank & eventually work its way up, Remember all Search engines are linked in some distant way, some more obvious then others but nether the less they are linked.

Search engines do not like them in articles either! Directories are a waste of time. Your right on the time it does take that.

i would choose manual rather than softwares... because not all sites accept automated submissions and with manual your work is more stable and will not give temporary result...

Don't go automated submission because it doesn't help much more. Always do manual submission. I am facing traffic problem but SEOGenies help me and enhance me website linking.
