Maybe you should ask your company:
Internet Marketing and S.E.O. »
Internet studies show that over 85% of the 1 Billion people online use search engines daily while surfing. The Internet is a veritable gold-mine, and we, at UniSoft recognize that fact. So, with a combination of traditional marketing skills infused with S.E.O. tactics, we aim to provide your business the necessary boost on the Internet.

mehtaamit12,
To say that your website doesn’t rank for anything isn’t accurate. If you were to perform a Google search you’ll find that the website ranks for ‘unisoft technologies’ on the second page of the SERPs. I used SEODigger to determine this.
I’d consider using webuildpages.com/neat-o/ to check your companies back links. Pay close attention to the anchor text links being used and look into getting some of those changed so that some of your keywords are randomly used through out. (Don’t simply use one keyword phrase for ALL links as this might easily be detected.)
On another note, I see that your domain was first registered on August 31st of 2007. Time is a factor in how well you will rank with most or all keyword terms. Both age of domain and length domain is registered out to will play a role when it comes to your rankings. Consider registering your domain out for up to 10 years, this is $100.00 well invested if you plan on making this business an income generator for a long time.
Run your home page and internal pages against Copyscape.com. It would appear that you are simply copying and pasting bits and pieces of content on your home page to other websites when advertising yourself. Uniqueness is important; why would Google want to index and rank your website well when there are a dozen other instances on the web of what your website has to say?
Lastly, I personally would suggest removing the Internet Marketing and SEO services from your services page. Asking a minor question about your website on an SEO Forum is one thing but offering SEO Services and getting a response like mine above might be an indicator that you’re not ready to offer your clients such services.

It never fails to amaze me, the number of people who offer SEO services, but don't have an optimised website themselves, then ask why on the forums. Infact it's actually quite scary when you think how many small businesses (who don't have money to burn) waste money with these companies.
Sorry to sound harsh, but it does happen a lot!

My favorite sites like this are the ones who list what service pages they include and they go on about submitting your site to Google is the best or only way for Google to know about your site... COME ON!
Then you have companies that spend so much on PPC accounts that they have an account representative at Google and maybe some additional access or joint access to multiple accounts (obviously i'm not one of these big PPC players since I don't know all the juicy details.) Anyways; these companies have a sales pitch that almost always mentions their special access to Google AND then go on to say that their service isn't PPC but sponsored results.
Correct me if I am wrong BUT why the heck would Google shoot themselves in the foot by offering a sponsored spot for a minimal flat rate?
One good example of such a company offered one of my clients guranteed sponsored listings in Google for $100.00 per month with a $79.85 set up fee. This was for ONE keyword which was, "Real Estate In Arlington". My guess and according to Word Tracker tells me that that term is poorly searched.
Bah! Steve you got my blood boiling just a little! ;-)

Does proper punctuation have anything to do with results?
Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is the practice of creating or modifying a web site so that it can be properly read and indexed by search engines. . It is mostly technical in nature,
Being technical means technical type...

If you're opting for better SERP, optimize your keywords and make sure these keywords are found in your content, page titles and page description -- that's one of the many onpage optimization strategies that you should implement on your site.
A good website design is not enough to stay good in online competition. There's a lot more work to be done in terms of achieving online success, good conversion, good traffic, etc. Do SEO methods and strategies to your site to be visible in SERPs and receive the benefits from it

You guys hit the nail right on the head with this one. I wonder if he woke up one day and said, "hey I think I'll sell SEO today". The other part I find funny is that if someone considers hiring his company (and does research to that effect) they very well may see this post. hmmmm, my guess is someone else will get the business!

Do you have a plugin in your browser that would help you distinguish between nofollow and dofollow links?.. If you're using FF like I do, you can try SearchStatus and Seolinkanalysis. These tools highlight nofollow links.

I'll assume that by conventional you mean the forums, blogging and comments, directories and articles, and social sites and bookmarks.
I'll admit that I'm also trying to find of new link building techniques. But the core concept remains the same: focus on the strong links.
We're working on a site right now that has a competing site with only about 60+ backlinks. This competition has less number of backlinks than our site BUT it has a higher ranking. This automatically tells us that the quality of the sites we're linking to is very relevant.
You can take a look at your competitors' links and verify the strength of these sites. Then you try to get your link in their sites -- link exchange, email the webmaster, the works..
Of course, this doesn't mean that you'll just drop all the other link building methods. Focus also on dofollow links of social sites and bookmarks, see that their communities are active and be an active participant as well.

Yes, by conventional stuff, i do mean forums, blogs etc, but i also mean looking where my competitors are getting links from. I have tried that, tried to link to them aswell.
I have had the same experience as you, one of our competitors ranked higher than us regardless of no of links.
Do you know any good blogs that use dofollow or do you know a VERY good way of finding them?
Secondly, do you have ANY other ideas, perhaps we could link exchange? if you can, have a look at our key term, Oracle support and let me know your thoughts. If you know anything VERY USEFULL, please let me know! i need serious HELP.
Thanks

It sounds like you are going to have to start with SEO basics here. Spend some time learning and understanding the industry basics before you get started.
