I'm looking for a data provider that provides search occurrence numbers for law markets, such as personal injury, business law, commercial litigation, employment law, etc. I need a tool that shows (1) how often a particular keyword is searched over a period of time (like, say three months)

thanks

Have you tried Google Trends? I think that Keyword Discovery also has data that would be useful to you.

Thanks, sem4u. Although Google trends was not exactly what I was looking for, it helped me in another way - a case of "searching for one thing only to find the answer to a separate seo problem that had been puzzling me!"

Thanks for the help

Well, we've decided to use Trellian's keyword search occurrence tools. They have data on terms that are market-specific. They don't yet have one for legal markets - which is what I really need - but we're asking them to put something like that together.

Thanks

inventory.overture.com provides monthly search volume of keywords. I think it provides accurate result.

Overture's data is very stale. It is from January 2007 (they aren't updating the tool anymore )

One thing you might want to try is nichebot. They give you access to multiple tools, its a bit confusing at first but nice if you really want to do some deep research across multiple platforms.
