Hallo,
do you know how many per cent people looks only at first three or five links in SERP. Is any trustfulness research about it?

this is the data aol published in 2006,but they withdrawed it soon.you also can google some information.

There is no exception in this, everybody want to try the first fives from the results, they will only proceed if they would not get the proper information for their search. :cool:

If I do not find a particular service/product, I can even go down to pages 100.
There is no fixed rule, but pages 1-2 attract most of the traffic ;)
there's a high chances for the sites listed from 1-20 but a good site title and description is another factor

A good title and description are vital to get attention bellow number 2 or 3. With out it, the site will often get ignored!
For example, if I search for Black Widgets and the top 3 pages talk about widgets but number 5 talks about BLACK WIDGETS it will gain a lot of attention. Titles are essential to SEO.
Most people won't go beyond the second page. And a good title and description matching the search keywords is what prompts the user to click the url.

Yes, You are right. Most people just care on the first page. That's why Title, description and a good keyword is very important.

Yes, I agree, but there are some chances too for those who are avid readers and those who are seriously researching for info who scan throughout the succeeding links. :o
