Sitemaps and RSS

Have you any experience with registration RSS of weblogs to Google sitemaps? I read somewhere, that Sitemaps can read RSS and I want to ask you, how that works in practice.

Yeah, I created my own CMS and one of the features that I added was a RSS feed for all my posts since I was having issues getting them indexed at first.
