How long does it take search engines yahoo and google to monitor backlinks from blogs with a high PR under the comments section . I really mean High PR such as PR5 and above

If you manage to get links on high PR pages then don't worry about how long it will take before they pick them up.

High (tool bar) PR means that a page has plenty of links (or links from pages with lots of links) and therefore the spiders will be visiting the page on a regular basis.

THE PR5 is 5 and it has been over a week but still not crawled and indexed by google

Give it some time. Google might not even list some links after even weeks from being established. Google is not like Yahoo in counting the links.

How exactly are you checking whether Google has picked up the link?

Check the latest cache date of the blog/s where you link on. :)

I have found most blogs to be no follow links.

Yeah, wordpress now automatically assigns the nofollow attribute on all links within the comment section by default. There are plugins that owners can install which will allow this to be turned off, but this is generally used as a reward to regular visitors, i.e. If you have commented say 10 times links in your comments will no longer be no followed.

Now, if you can find a wp blog that is still using a version below 1.5 you're in business ;)

I dunno about other blogging platforms, I mean: are there any other blogging flatforms? :D

Often times, you have to wait for backlinks update in Google to monitor your links (though Google will only give a portion of your total IBLs)

There are crash and burn blogs out there just selling links that will have a PR5 or there abouts and not get crawled very often as the PR is a result of one good paid for link.

Trustrank also plays a part.

If you are really anxious to see results you can ping the blog that you've posted a link to. This will get the spiders there faster.

To search do follow blogs you need to search with query "u comment I follow" + niche name in google image search. This will result do follow blogs.

I have found most blogs to be no follow links.
