hello well i need a help on this topic
My site linked up with some sites .... and my site link is in their linkings page ....
But how google detect this should we have to inform manually ........... how please tell me
Google knows about all your links. No need to tell them.

As long as these sites are in the Google index then the pages will be crawled and your link will be picked up.
As a rule of thumb, the higher the page rank the more often the page will be spidered.

You mean the backlinks don't show up on Google's link: search?
In that case.... start reading some of the other posts on SEO forums. That 'problem' has been explained just about a gazillion times, maybe more :)

Many of the links Google crawls and counts are not even reported by the link: command and a better report of them can be seen by looking at the webmasters tools section.

Good advice. Webmaster Tools is a lot more comprehensive. Also Yahoos link tool gives you a more concise report.

you can also try to submit you sitemap to google in order to be better indexed
this could maybe solve the problem

What do you mean? Are your back links not showing?
