If its relevant content then it will help a lot. Pagerank is a bonus when building links in my opinion.

PR is only for Google, so any link can be of help for Yahoo and Google. They are web votes to sites.

Personally I will take any link I can get. It helps if the PR0 is at least related, and I am having great luck currently with forums and blogs.

It is best to get a diverse link profile. Today's PR0 may be a lot higher later in the year.

Exactly!
I get Google Alerts sent to me which relate to all my keywords, then I follow all the blog/forum/article links and drop a worthy comment with a back link. This works really well for me because i usually have an opinion on most subjects. The fact that Google has sent me the links in a Google Alert means the pages are already rated and doing well in the index. Many of these blogs/forums/articles don't have any PR, but they do have highly relevant content. They WILL build PR and if i leave a constructive comment I'm increasing the chances of getting a discussion going which could lead to more PR for the page.
I build links for clients in the same way. Its a lot harder doing it for someone else though because you don't know their industry. It does mean that i learn loads of stuff about stuff though!

Google PageRank is has a little bit something to consider when building backlinks. Of course, most of the high PR sites was good to link on; but links on relevant site is really a big factor in link building.

All links from good content help. In fact for some of my sites I'll actually create a promotion site to go along with it, like a blog. Often these sites start a PR0, but as content goes up the PR goes up of both sites.

Doesn't matter if you place your site with pr 0, but it was a great point if you submit your site with high pr.

Well relevancy between the two pages count. Remember every high pagerank link starts from PR NA and moves its way up. It does not mean that it will not be a PR 6 link in the future.

Listen Guys....
If You Want To Increase Your Sites Back Links....
First You Search Proper Sites OR Directory For Submission of Your Site....
Then You Select Proper Category When You Submit Your Site To Site OR Directory....
Then You Do Reciprocal / Link Exchange Via Mail....
Then 100% You Get Good Back Links....
But This Is Not Enough To Get Your Site On Top Position....

I've always been of the opinion that a PR0 or PR1 site could be a PR2 or up during the next update. I will always take a link from either of those PR sites. Just my .02 worth.
