Yahoo Having A big Deal with Google?!?

I read in search engine land that Yahoo has going to have a deal with Google after rejecting Microsofts offer to them. Read the story on search engine land; under yahoo.

Well it would not surprise me in the slightest if google were to buy yahoo they seem to be speculating to accumulate recently.

i read from a article he is, along with Microsoft, keeping the share price alive. Yahoo's options are reduced over time as they lose share to Google. 3 or 4 years back Yahoo could have put pressure on Google.

Google buying Yahoo makes less sense as they will have to severe most of the groups of yahoo and take on 10 year project to integrate their services with google....

MS and Yahoo made more sense as MS had very low penetration in search space + international arena....

But, oh well!!!

I still think its too early to say what could happen. I don't think it would be beneficial for either at this point and I would rather see more competition anyway.

I think not simply because Yahoo just before the end of the year 2008 just acquired a veteran CEO from Silicon Valley and their employees were frozen early this year 2009 because they just re-channeled those funds to improving their engine as vowed by the new CEO.

I got to tell you the truth I really hope yahoo uses googles index and ranking system. I get all my traffic from google and very very little from yahoo so it would be good for me:)
