Here is an interesting blog entry about an undocumented Google "service" that strips out images and ads from any website you view. I gave it a run and it looks like it would be more useful to detect SPAM more than a surfing convenience.

All you have to do is goto http://www.google.com/gwt/n and type in a URL. That's it.

The author states it might be used for low bandwidth or cell/mobile phones but it's just not that useful IMO. It would be helpful in finding all those hidden same color as the background text links though.

It isn't new service (via: mobileread (http://www.mobileread.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5304&goto=nextoldest) ), but I think that it is very useful for all people with PDA.
