Hello!

As Google is personalizing its results, how could I know the true position of my keywords? I've seen huge differences for the same keywords using Google at work and at home.

Would it be better using Scroogle for example to check the results?

Thank you very much!
;)

Hi, what do you mean by Google personalizing the result and doing checking of the rankings from home or at work?

Are you seeing different results on Google from time to time?

I'm seeing huge differences if I use my computer (with my gmail account) at work or my colleagues' computer.

When I come back home I'm looking for the same keywords, and the SERPs are different too...

That is very unusual. I never see like different SERPs in different computer. Can you tell us whats the keyword if you want, we can take a look at it.

Thanks

For example, yesterday I've checked "apprendre anglais" in google.fr and we appeared in 7th position, today we are in 12th.

Other example, my colleague checked for "anglais en ligne" and we were 5th. When I checked, at the same time, we were 32nd.

Our site is ABA English.

It seems that results are different due to Google's dances on its servers. Someone can tell me a good website/software (free if possible) to check my position?

Thanks a lot ;)

No such thing.. google changes all the time.. Yes google does major updates and shifts results BUT generally its changes day in day out..

I see 4 sets of results at present.. Its normal..

Stats will show you how well you rank as your see traffic go up or down in relation to your serps..

Simple as that.. :)

Yes, but I thought I could find a more accurate tool. I'll content myself with Analytics stats!

I was also facing the same problem but luckly i find the solution. First when ever you search the keyword ranking remove the cookie of your browser then check it. I think this will give you a perfect result.
