Here is an interesting article on some Google secrets.

Its a couple of months old now but raises some interesting points. Most interesting is:

CTR may now be monitored through cache, temporary files, bookmarks and favorites via the Google toolbar or desktop tools

Google seems to monitor how popular links are when applying them to page ranks.

I'm really upset!

How many years did you register your domain name for?

This is quite ridiculous when I think more about it. Do you know how unfair it will be to honest website businesses? If google puts so much weight into the age of your domain (and they probably will) then it's going to be a sad sad period for new domain owners.

If I hired 10 content writers pumping out 2 articles per day, that would give me 20 articles a day. Would that be over google's allowance? it's insanity at its best...however for those who come out on top (I've seen a few so far) - I just like to  and watch the rankings

Google certainly is becoming a complex beast. I am now glad that some of my unused domains were registered several years ago.

Has anyone noticed Google's cache links rarely seem to work rcently? Maybe they are concentrating on their algorithms too much and forgetting about other things.
