Hi, I just noticed a post was made to a thread that was started a couple of years ago, and I was hoping we could revisit it in this new thread. Blogrolled.com is a new service I am considering using to help with our link building, and I wondered if any of you had thoughts about whether or not this service will work. I guess this is a continuation of the discussion of how effective/ineffective site-wide links are from RustyBrick's thread in 2006.

Thank you

Thanks for the update. I buy blogroll links and have found them to be very effective for my blogs. This is indeed a good service for both bloggers and advertisers :)

I checked the service obviously the service still in its mature phase, you can not find blogs in all niche.
You can not see the blog URL before buying which is good to keep the blogs safe from a potential penalty but for a new service it is very hard to trust that they will choose good blogs for you.

I think all paid links are bad and should be avoided. The risk of being penalised by Google is not worth taking. Also because there are so many free ways to9 get good quality links so why pay and take a chance.

I am not sure about that, especially if you have no more than 1 hour/day to build links

I think you don't have to buy blogroll just ask for it.

I would tend to outsource my linkbuilding should I have no time to do so. I'd just reiterate to the link builder to build them properly and suggest the venues where I would want to have my backlinks built.

Site-wide links (especially if done to more than one-site) may be considered as paid links by Google and get you in hot water.

There are lots of quality blogs out there that will be only too happy to exchange links with you so there really is no need to buy them.
