Hi there. I wanted to ask and get opinion from seo experts on following:

I am going to be providing informative articles for my industry which many sites will want, and I'm going to give us website unique articles so it's best for my linking.

These articles will be listed on their website kind of like a library page and their will be brief 2 sentence summary and if they like article they click link which takes to full article on my website.

Anyways, I want to be sure their page has the best PR possible. I know it's more difficult to get website owners to make a section called "articles" as a part of their template so that the article page will have more internal links and greater PR I would imagine and spiderability. Is this so much better than them having 1 link from their home page that says "articles" which takes to the library page of all my articles on their site which is just 1 click away from home page.

I just want to know how much i should push and try to get this "article" page embedded either in footer of each page or their menu system or it really won't make a difference in PR of page

thanks in advance

It is very good technique but it looks you are trying to contact web masters directory insread of using article syndication service, this will l be time intensive for you.

i have additional question, say if the titles of each article link to my article and i always submit a unique article to each website that hosts my article so i avoid the duplicate content issue, so example would be "Utilizing a 1031 Exchange to hold up paying taxes" I bolded my main keyword, however the entire article would be hyperlinked, is this bad? I want it to count as a backlink and get most bang out of it, perhaps I should only hyperlink the word 1031 exchange from the article, would that be better?

If you communicate the mutual benefit to them then it may not be that difficult for them to implement your suggestion. In most cases the websites will be based on some Content management system so adding adding a new menu option should be easy for them.

I agree with toronto-seo...it would be much easier to just distribute your articles through the various article syndication networks. That way you can spend an hour or two submitting your article to article directories and then you're done. Try ezinearticles.com, goarticles.com or any of the other article directories.
