Backlinks.. Simple as that.. Do no use the add url but add a link to a page that is indexed regularly...
(most of the time pr is an indicator of how regularly indexed a page is/was pr5+ should start to get you indexed in a few days)
Hope that helps..

Implementing Google Sitemaps may also help Google find and index other pages of your website.

Submit in searchengines.

I really don't see a point in submitting to search engines these days...we are in the days of Engine Wars and they are all dying for a piece of the interweb. Back in the day, submitting to the engines would/could/might have helped, but instead of wasting your time submitting, let them index your site by themselves.
Things mentioned here are the basic things you should/can do to get indexed faster.
In all reality, don't worry about getting indexed fast, just focus on getting your site done for your intended users and all the rest will come in due time. Don't get hung up on 1 thing and crack your head doing it. heck, what do i know...

Have a backlink from a page which is already been indexed by google and has some PR(1,2, anything ). This will help you to get indexed faster.
As I said links is what SE follow..
Have a look at ravi_mareedu post..
