In some datacenters Google has very old data.

For example, I see old PR and old backlinks in
64.233.171.99
64.233.171.104
64.233.171.105
64.233.171.147

Also, old caches are easy to see.

The SERPs over there are now for at least a week on 64.233.179.104. They were for a short time live on Google.

A number of people have reported seeing pre-jagger results on those DC's.

I have been monitoring the rankings for several categories very closely. Looks like the "results" went back to more informational type sites in the top listings. Lots of junk "authority spam" in the listings too. As for today, things seem to be leveling out a little. I would bet they are testing things.

It is my understanding that the reults are the Test Data Center. The test results are crrently on 2 dc's and may spread to a few more this week. Matt Cutt's suggests that they will not fully spread until after the holidays.

I have found that the test results has changed a bit for terms that I follow during the past few days. At one point this past Monday, the test dc were live on a few datacenters & some of my sites where looking great.

Then bam - the test dcs now show those sites in different positions again - I hate to say it but in a more realistic rank :o or dropped to their normal positions.

I agree but however I am seeing several directories making there way back to the tops of the search results for google. Maybe this is just blind observation on my part but it seems that directory listings have been rewarded with jagger.

From what I have been watching for approx 3 weeks with the test DC. At differnet parts of the day i say post Jagger results and at other times I see new results which are more like pre Jagger.. It is my undertstanding that this is all part of the so called Big Daddy update that will be coming. You will also notice that the bot that is crawling for the test DC's is Mozillabot.
