I have recently updated my website with a new fresh design. Not much has changed on the actual conversion page but my click through rate has dropped around 10% and my conversion rate about 40% but traffic is steady

I really need some help from you all here. PLEASE!

The url is [thephonenetwork (dot) co (dot) uk

So why did you decide changing your web layout and design in the first place? Was something wrong or you thought maybe a better newer design would jump your ad clicks?

Try reversing the trend to see if the cause has been really the one you have mentioned.

try simplifying your page and put a 100 to 300 word article about your site on the front page

Contrary to Nielson, people do read. The search engines definitely do too.

This is a great example of why you should think twice about a fancy web makeover. Its very hard not to mess up your rankings.

depending on how much money is at stake you should re-incorporate the elements you removed from the site.

I prefer incrementalism.

While marketing focuses on driving more “eyeballs” to your website, usability focuses on improving the experience of those visitors.

If you drive twice the traffic but your conversion rate remains the same, you are not capitalizing on the true potential of your marketing efforts.

By increasing your conversion rate along with your traffic, you can increase your customer-to-visitor ratio on a larger scale.
