Big Daddy is suspected to roll out weekly to each data center. We are told that it will be a slow process.
Backlinks and big daddy are unique entities, I believe.

BTW:
This is only a BigDaddy BL change - the older databases kick in during different parts of the day - even with the same IPs - you will get BigDaddy for about 12 hours - than the older ones ....
