With 2 (of several) KPI/KSI's for success of Internet Marketing were:

1. traffic from referrals, and
2. traffic from search

If you were told that all bounce traffic (bad traffic) has to be removed from this number would you think that this would be a fair representation of your efforts?

Bounce traffic isn't necessarily bad traffic. Sometimes that just means that the person found exactly what they were looking for on the landing page. For example, somebody could be comparing prices and checking the first bunch of results.

You should get credit for all traffic that you drive to the website, regardless of what they do once they get there. What they do once they get to the website is up to the website designer.
