I have a friend who has a site with one product only. This product he ships worldwide, to make up for the costs of shipping, he decided to keep the price the same but charge Dollars for customers from the US and the rest of the world he is charging the same amount in Euros.
Now he has on the product page in huge letters Customer from the USA click here, not from the USA click here....
Guess what, after a year 99.3% of non USA based customers got it right but an astounding 23.6% of USA customers clicked the Euro button, paid happily more in a currency they dont know or understand (i assume)...
Looking at the current exchange rate i am thinking of changing Euro to British pounds, it seems the average american doesnt care anyway ;)
