Well,

Today was strange.. I know that xmas is not far away... But why is google now showing ads the same size a serps..

Bad move... ?

All queries from the uk are showing the same font size on the ads as the serps.. so its now a 50/50 split..

It started on Friday here in Chicago...at least that's when I noticed it. I noticed a slight increase in CTR (account wide) over the weekend.

Fantastic - this is probably a move to increase confidence in advertisers during the holiday season by giving, what should be, an inherent increased CTR. If they do that then they'll come back next year!

Yep.

So far conversion %'s held too. That's what's really important what it's all said and done. Keep sending me the same quality traffic...just more of it:D

I'd like to see how it trends out over the next couple weeks. I've seen changes like this make a positive impact before the first few days of it's inception then level back out when people get used to it.

In any event it's surely not hurting anything - keep it comin' G:)

Google should allow us to choose the font size. like between size 10-14
