I went to this company in good faith hoping to get professional service and purchased their second most expensive package. They promised me one-way links, which everyone knows are the most valuable of links. Instead, I was shocked to see links that ranked 0-3 (my website has a google rank of 5) and 4 out of 5 links were for non-related products that were useless. I immediately cancelled any further service based on "junk" links that they promised were one-way links. One of the links was already a partner link? How do they explain that? Not! I did my own research and I strongly believe that they use the Alexia Archive files to locate old links that previously belonged to your current site. What a scam. The pop-under banners were set to show 32 pop-unders daily? This was my first red flag and my suspicions grew stronger when I asked them to give me the names of the sites they were listing my site with. They claimed they were random?? So this could mean that my site could possibly be showing up in adult content or useless non-related sites.
I have filed a claim with the Better Business Bureau against Submit Solutions for poor service and fradulent tactics to scam consumers. Learn from my mistake and be careful. After much research, I have learned to do much of my search/optimizations. Submit Solutions offers nothing but worthless and sub-standard services to unsuspecting consumers!!!!

I don't think you'll get very far with the BBB considered they said they were going to get you one-way links and they did just that. You should have asked where these links were coming from and the quality/theme of these backlinks BEFORE you signed the contract or paid them a penny.
BTW most of the backlinks will probably be coming from blog comment spam.

I did. They were made aware that my website had a PR5 with Google and that I was specifically looking for one-way links with like products and a ranking of PR5 or better. They assured me that they knew what they were doing. When I asked for it in writing, they told me it would be provided to me during the second stage of my package. Of course, they had to be paid to get to that stage otherwise I wouldn't have been ripped off!
The BBB will place a complaint sheet on record and this can have adverse effects on any company doing business with another company and it will also help other unsuspecting individuals (like myself) ask questions BEFORE they pay. So I will get to have some justice.

Well I wish you the best of luck but I find it very strange that the BBB would file a complaint when you shouldn't have been buying the backlinks to begin with. It violates Google's TOS.
It's like complaining about a drug dealer because you got busted with drugs by the cops.

I wasn't buying the actual individual link (which I have heard costs thousands of dollars, money I ain't got!) and yes it does violate Google's TOS rules and policies (which I take very serious). I was paying Submit Solutions for a Package that contained linking assistance, optimization, etc.
Submit Solutions guaranteed me that they had companies that would be willing to add my PR5 link to their PR5+ link website without a reciprocal link. WHICH THEY DIDN'T DELIVER!!!
Looking back (20/20), I should have and could have done this myself simply by contacting willing and able websites.

Don't make the mistake many people do.. Why did I pay for this when I could do it myself ?
Well here a situation i'm in .. I'm going to move to a new flat and me and the lady hate cleaning but we both can do it with no problems, so I'm getting a cleaner..
You can pay for things you don't want/can't be bothered or can't do in life.. just imho.. ;)

We had something like that happen to us in a smaller way!
In New Zealand my search engine is just about the largest NZ based search engines we have.
A SEO company called me up one morning offering to do a special deal for a community based website I set up a few years ago. He told me about how he could double the visitors by making the keywords match special things he undestood which were not known by everyone. Then he said that he could guarantee that my website would be top of the listings within my search engine. He didn't realise that it was to do with me?
In the end I asked him to come down to the office so that I could pay him and give him the password and ftp details. Which he did he then did, the guy must be an arsehole to be honest.
Above the front of the building is large sign saying "LinkNZ Ltd the Kiwi search engine!" and he parked up below it and wandered into the offices.
It was at that point that he started to look a bit worried, one of my support staff came over and started to talk about when we were going to do the next refresh of the index? He sort of looked around a bit, and then he started to gaze at some of the computers around the room which most had the search engine's admin pages open on.
Then he said "Is this something to do with you?" and so I said " I am really bloody keen to find out about this special method you have discovered that will get my community web site in the top results." and with that he was gone like a rocket. Almost ran to his car.

The more I read about SEO/website optimisation and the more I write about it the more I learn so joining this website can only be a good thing. I always try to give only positive answers and try not to just repeat what has already been said.

I booked my optimizing account with Jake fromSubmit Solutions and hetook $4,500 in total marketing of my 3 sites.Jake kept saying dont camcel out all summer of 2009 and I never ever even had anyone visit my sites ever or any orders.I told Jake I was almost broke and he said just stay in programs and even said I owed him more as he took 1 of my programs off the entire search engine and placed 2 in a one way link he said.I never ever recieved orders or even people looking at my sites. He then took $250.00 out of my debit card saying I did not pay enough when we agreed on the phone he cover the 2 sites. I have to declare bankrupcyonmy credit cards as I am disabled and cant pay it off.I will lose my home over this but my brothers are paying my bills.I tell everyone about Submit Solutions and now bogging on every site I can get on. He said he would take care of me but I cant get out as I have too much money in program.I got out fast when he said that and I told himn this was a rat trap big time.Jake also never sent me my 2 last submissions to try and declare it asa bussiness loss for Taxes.Brothers wife is also online with better bussiness and others. Jake cant even come to the phone when I call him but hew is there they say. I was really taken to the cleaners with 2 way links or never was in system I believe.
