So is google starting to cover Europe..

I can see a square area around "torino" in italy which google now covers on google local.. very odd..

Sorry if this is old news but why one sq ?

Wait, you searched for barcelona (in spain) and Google displayed torino (italy): very weird... As for Google Local in Europe, they do not cover all countries yet, I think only the UK so far.

LOL...

Was looking @ Barcelona and zoomed out as its not covered by G to come a accross a sq around Torino in italy..

Am I the only one ????

no, you're not, I see Torino in Italy too, it's only a small square with Torino and its surroundings, but it's empty around it.

thats where the winter olympics were, i guess thats why this part is covered now, nothing else...

yeah, we know :) But we were wondering why the showed Torino for a search for Barcelona? Or maybe there's also a town called barcelona in Italy?

it doesnt show torino when typing in barcelona, he even said he was looking for barcelona and zoomed out and eventually saw that the piemont (region around turino is covered), if you go to maps.google.com or local.google.com and type in barcelona you are exactly were you should be, but with no image, so zoom out a bit and you see the piemont...

i like to add, that if you type in at maps or local a destination for example barcelona and then drag around the globe and click the link button then you get the new destination including your initial search, look just like this
