What is link wheel? How does it work?

Link wheel works like this.
Imagine that there are three sites. The 1st one gives its own link to the 2nd one, the 2nd one gives its own link to the 3rd one, and the 3rd one gives its own link to the 1st one. So, we recieve a circle, or a wheel.
But as I know Google doesn't like such a wheel and Google easily calculates the sites which have chosen to promote themselves with the help of link wheel.

Link wheel is the new concept in SEO and it is in great influence now a days. Basically a link wheel is a technique utilizing multiple platforms to interlink articles. It's nothing but a wheel in SEO terms, where your website is at the concentration point and all the articles, press release, blogs are linked to each other.
It's basically like sharing link juices from your index page and distributing it to other page of your site at the same time. Getting benefits to have traffics for your other pages and so on.

Link wheel is the bad SEO practise...Instead you can use three way linking. In this 1st site provide link for 2nd. While the 2nd site provides link t 3rd. Just break the loop (do not complete the circle)

Link wheel is a nice strategy where the cycle of machinery used to promote a business or a site helps the optimization,it works when done effectively.
