Maybe it is just me, but anyone notice the more searches that you do, the more you encounter sites which are irrelavent and just advertising? I am seeing more and more bogus websites throughout!

Just one example...Just did a search for "aruba accommodation". From the results, there are many listings which come up almost identical except for the "name" of the "company". ALL are just advertisements (sorry, there is probably another word for this type of page, placeholder?) targeted to the search term. Is this the future of Google? Is this the future of search engines?

That's domain spam pretty much or "Domain AdSense" as Danny Sullivan refers to them.

I hate these types of sites but hye they make Google money so not sure how long they'll be around.

What do you do when you find yourself on pages like this? Block them from showing your adwords and...?

It's domain parking and is lucrative for Google, so they aren't going away anytime soon.
