Make it two wet towels then.

Anyway, the theory is that you wrap a wet towel around a body part that contains lots of blood vessels close to the skin (and change or refresh it regularly). Be it around your neck, your wrists, your ankles or even your ****. I guess it depends on your anatomy and your state-of-mind hehehe.

What also works is to get a day job at some big shot company. Most of them have air con LOL. Alas, few of them let you sleep over.

Don't think about heat :) Buy some small pool and jump in between breaks :)

I just take regular trips to the swimming baths - instantly refreshed and good excercise too.

If you're working in conditions such as you describe, your employer should pay for your tickets.

A branch office had similar heat problems in its machine room and the servers gave up the fight - what's the point of fighting on their behalf?

Our machine room is cold - you need woollies to work in it even in this heat.

somebody seems to be cutting corners where you're working - it's not healthy for you or, more importantly, for the machines ;)
