I don't have any idea about the number of times google updates its algorithm...
But latestly they updated their algorithm from Panda 3.5 to Penguin....
It is updated on April 24 , 2012...

It's not fixed that Google will change the algorithm at specific period of time. Sometimes it may change within a month and sometimes it may change after 6 month also.

Algorithm is transparent, so when they think that someone has understood they immediately changes the algorithm.

Hi, i am new to this forum. Hello all. I would like to say that recent update was penguin update by google. There is no fixed season by the google for its algorithm update. One needs to keep self updated with the latest google algorithms and seo strategies so that it can help in getting your website marketing easier.
