    Default Multiple Location SEO

    Hi

I am working on a project where i needs to optimize different states and cities under that states of usa. I am planning for subdomains for different states. like texas.abc.com,
california.abc.com. Or should i go with internal directory pages. or all together different domain like texasabc.com.

Why i am planning for different subdomains is because i need to optimize all the services for all the locations that i am providing on main website.

I need expert advice. So please provide your suggestion soon.

Actually it would be a difficult task to get ranking for various locations so you need to select less competitive keywords so you may target for high ranking in search engine

Google Webmaster Tools Geo-targeting Setting: If you are using a global top-level domain such as.com or.net but your site targets New Zealand, use the geo-targeting setting within Google Webmaster Tools to advise Google of your preferred target market.

If you want to optimize location based SEO, I believe using subdomains will give you more advantages. This is because each sites will have its optimize keywords independently.
