Thread: Google to Show AdWords Quality Score in Ad Group Detail

  1. Default Google to Show AdWords Quality Score in Ad Group Detail

Google to Show AdWords Quality Score

"Next month I'll beta test the Quality Score Column in AdGroup Detail (I've been invited by Google), if you wish I can do some experiments as I'll be able to see Quality Score for each keyword in real time. So I can confirm if this is true or not."
Pretty interesting development, wouldn't you say?

    Thoughts? Comments?

I'm surprised that no one else who was invited has let the cat out of the bag.

It will be really intersting when they start showing the quality score - let's just hope it's a meaningful number we can use to improve AdWords perfromance and not another PageRank type number (nice to see green bar but pretty much worthless beyond that).

Micromag has been around DP for awhile and seems to really know his stuff, I would be surprised if he was BS'ing.

Good news. It is nice to see a bit more transparency on things like this with Google.

    Default A good move

I think it is a good move by Google to be more transparent to its customers. BTW, when it would get implemented live?

I think the reason why google is releasing this information is because they must get a ton of advertisers calling and complaining about the "Inactive for Search" messages they receive for some of their keywords. We all know that quality score is the reason for the kw becoming inactive so google is saying instead of complaining, increase your quality score and stop being a pain.

Well, I am looking forward to it as well... I suspect people will start tailoring even better "quality" landing pages tailored specificly for single keyword phrases now
