Default Google Custom Search Engine Adds Feature That Learns

Basically, you now have an option to tell Google to look at the links on a page. It then looks at those links, and automatically includes the sites you link to, within your Google Custom Search Engine.

I wrote about it at http://searchengineland.com/070613-120536.php

And you can see it in action at http://www.cartoonbarry.com/link-farm.html

Is there a way to monetize the custom search results.... like google custom search for adsense?

Kind of like when you go into the adsense control panel and create a search box with your adsense ID... you get paid for clicks on search result ads.

Yes, you just plug in your adsense pub id and any ad clicks, you get money.
