why is that conference related to seo does not create enough buzz in india.
I think mainly because indian seo's are not so interested in conferences. More over seo's in india are going through hard times.nobody in india knows exactly what seo is or what is the importance of seo is?

Not enough buzz? Hmm I dunno. More than a couple of participants so far.

Maybe some SEOs are just too hard-headed to be open for new ideas aired at a SEO (un)conference Or maybe it's just over their heads I dunno

I don't agree with you. The problem i think seo's in india face is that they genrally do not have budget and time to travel to other parts of india. SEO in india are working very hard but i must agree they are not working smartly.

Second reason, i think is that is that seo's in india don't think that conferences has anything to offer to them.

Ok I get that. I can imagine that the travelling thing is a bit of a problem. After all, India is huge.

But I also think that your "...don't think that conferences has anything to offer to them" and my "...too hard-headed to be open for new ideas..." are just two different ways to describe the same issue

OrgganicSEO - In one of the blogs referred in your post above, it seems that you are referred as the BlackHat SEO guy with a link to the web-site in your signature.

Is is an apt description about you?
