I have a client who is using another SEO company as well as me and as i'm newly working with them, they won't hand over any analytics package access or data. Basically, they've assigned us an affiliate ID and tacked it onto the end of URL's for the keywords and categories they want us to target for them. This makes link-building through directories a bit of a no-no, as many won't allow affiliate ID's in URL's, and many will only allow one submission per domain. They're working on the ptrinciple that they can just see who is driving the most traffic at the end of a set period, and i presume choose to go with whoever performs best.

what other options are available to me, link building and keyword targetting with an affilliate ID 'enriched' url?

any suggestions gratefuly recieved....
