Google shows only a sample of your links. Create a webmaster tools account with Google and you will see many more!

if it's a new site, Google won't show any of your backlinks. You have to wait for the G update before it shows (thru manual method)

The Yahoo site explorer section is great for having a good look at the links to websites, Google is still using its old method of displaying only some links at a time.
